People of all ages can get excited about an Easter celebration that includes baskets of pastel-colored gifts and chocolate-covered treats. Last year, I noticed how particularly adorable the plush Squishmallows get around Eastertime. Recently, I went searching to see what flower-decorated, candy-holding critters will be in stores. (That's the life of a toy editor!) Here's what I found.

Squishmallows are officially for ages 3 and up.

Our top picks

• Bluey for Easter: Squishmallows 7-Inch Easter Bluey

• Not the usual: Squishmallows Easter Micromallows Bouquet

• Cutest newbie: Blake The Bunny in Carrot Costume

• OG Squish we still love: Squishmallows Sunshine Rainbow with Clouds

I'll be honest, I don't know if this little Easter Bluey is even going to still be in stock when this story goes live. If you want Bluey in a flower crown and holding an egg, grab it while you can!

Lancelot the Easter bunny basket debuted last year, and just like the Easter Bunny, it's making a return visit! Use it for an egg hunt or a candy haul—but remember, it is on the small side. Amazon reviewers say they like it for a young child.

I love that Bodie got a chocolate bunny! The yellow-spotted cow is, in Squishmallows lore, known for having a vivid imagination—so maybe he'll be keeping it as a pet instead of eating it as a treat.

Disney fans know Officer Judy as the star of the Zootopia franchise. In Squishmallow form, her biggest concern seems to be a basketful of carrots.

This $6 (!) Bluey holding a bunny-shaped Easter basket is part of the Kohl's Cares campaign. Net profits go to the retailer's charity that supports families. I have a feeling this one is going to sell out fast!

This classic Squishmallows is not new; it's earned thousands of five-star Amazon reviews and appeared on my list of the cutest Squishmallows of all time. If spring isn't the time for sunshine and rainbows, I don't know when is.

New for spring, if not especially Easter-ish aside from the bright color, this Jabari is a grapefruit bat. The fact he's sort of bat, sort of fruit is exactly why I love Squishmallows. What they create sometimes barely makes sense, but it's always adorable!
