I’ve been a huge fan of Kacey Musgraves since her Same Trailer Different Park days—and since then, the singer-songwriter has gotten creative with her brand on a project-by-project basis (especially when it comes to her style, which always seems to reflect the musical era she’s in.)
In recent years, Kacey has explored delicate, folk-pop moments with flowy vintage dresses, classic bows, and bandanas (hello, Deeper Well). But with the release of her latest album, Middle of Nowhere, she returned to her Texas roots with the perfect country aesthetic that she seems right at home in.
On April 29, Kacey took the stage to perform her new songs at the Nashville Palace in Tennessee for a surprise performance sponsored by Spotify—and fans can’t stop talking about her concert look. They called her outfit “ethereal” and “stunning”. Aside from her iconic cowboy hat and pointed boots, Kacey wore a glittery black halter top, dark-wash fringe-lined jeans, and the perfect vintage-Western belt.
The belt, in my opinion, is really what made the outfit. And in my pursuit of finding out which pieces Kacey wore during her performance (it’s my job!), I realized that the belt is from LA-based clothing brand Streets Ahead—and it’s available in both white and black in sizes XS to XL. It’s called the LeAnn belt, likely after fellow country singer LeAnn Rimes.
Let’s not beat around the bush: Kacey’s exact belt is on the pricier side. After all, it’s made from premium Italian leather and features an oversized, 24-karat-gold-plated buckle loop that adds a rustic, antique vibe.
Luckily, there are quite a few similar options available online if you’re hoping to mimic her look (whether you’re planning on attending her newly announced tour or if you’re hosting a listening party of your own.) I’ve listed some of my favorites below.
