‘Devil Wears Prada’ Fans, Did You Catch Anne Hathaway and Anna Wintour’s Oscars Moment?

The Devil Wears Prada 2 isn’t even out yet … but Anne Hathaway is having her fashion moment with none other than Anna Wintour!

The duo was on hand to present the Best Costume Design and Best Makeup and Hairstyling awards at the 2026 Oscars, which aired live from Los Angeles on March 15. Anne and Anna both looked incredible in black-and-white floral ensembles, and their presence was a clear nod to the highly anticipated The Devil Wears Prada sequel, out in theaters on May 1, 2026.

Before presenting the awards, Anne asked Anna what she thought of the gown she wore to the Oscars. In response, Anna slipped on her iconic black sunglasses and began reading the nominees for both categories.

Upon seeing this iconic moment between two fashion icons, fans couldn’t get enough of them online.

“I loved Anne Hathaway and Anna Wintour presenting the costume and makeup awards. I never get tired of The Devil Wears Prada references,” one person wrote on X. “Anna Wintour and Anne Hathaway, that's the tweet,” another penned. “I'M DYING that they put Anne Hathaway and Anna Wintour to present together,” a different follower added.

Now, fans know Anne famously portrayed Andrea “Andie” Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada, which came out in 2006. And although Anna didn’t appear in the original film, her likeness inspired the role of Miranda Priestly, portrayed by Meryl Streep.

So, does this instance between Anne and Anna infer that the latter will make a cameo in the upcoming sequel when it debuts in May? Multiple reports suggest she will not appear in The Devil Wears Prada 2. But with this movie getting so much hype ahead of its box-office debut, you never know who’s going to show up!
