The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt and her husband, Conner Leavitt, have spent plenty of time away from Utah lately—but the couple still calls the state home.

Whitney and Conner rose to fame while filming the hit Hulu reality show primarily in the Salt Lake City area, all while raising their three children: Sedona, 6; Liam, 4; and Billy Gene, 20 months.

But since the show premiered in 2024, the Leavitts have spent stretches on each coast, going to L.A. for Dancing With the Stars in late 2025 and New York for Whitney’s Broadway stints in Chicago and the upcoming Just in Time.

However, as Whitney and Conner revealed in Good Housekeeping’s September/October 2026 cover story, they’ve moved their family back to Utah—and Whitney gave a candid answer as to why.

“It was very hard to leave New York, but it wasn’t working for our family and our kids,” Whitney said. “We enjoyed the opportunities—we never wanted to say no. But we needed groundedness. With this house, we’ve found our base camp.”

They settled in St. George, a city in southwestern Utah, to be closer to extended family.

Even with loved ones nearby, Whitney admitted that she still has moments when she wonders how she and Conner will juggle everything.

“It’s crazy how many people we’ve hired to take care of this house and how much we still have to do,” Whitney shared.

We love seeing Whitney and Conner in this new chapter—and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead for them.
