Major things are going down on Sullivan’s Crossing—and one of the characters is attempting to figure out another’s true motives.

Season 4 has been airing every Monday on the CW, and fans have been privy to the messy love triangle between Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan), Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray), and Maggie’s ex-husband Liam (Marcus Rosner). After Liam surprised Maggie by reappearing in the season 3 finale, Maggie has been struggling to figure out where her feelings lie for both men—especially after a surprise kiss with Liam had her questioning her emotional relationship with Cal.

Given all the ups and downs Cal has been encountering with Maggie, it makes sense that he would want to know Liam’s true intentions for popping up at the Crossing. Well, ahead of the next Sullivan’s Crossing episode on June 8, 2026, we have an exclusive clip that shows Cal confronting Liam. And Liam, in turn, has something he needs to get off his chest.

“Listen, Cal—I don’t want any trouble, OK?” Liam states as Cal approaches him on the front porch of his rental home.

“It’s a bit late for that,” Cal replies. “Look, I respect what you’ve been through, but that doesn’t mean you can come here and tear apart Maggie’s life.”

“I can’t help the way I feel,” Liam answers.

“Why did you really come here?” Cal asks.

“Like I said, I needed those papers for my Visa,” Liam answers, referencing a previous conversation between the two. “But I also needed closure, OK, which means I had to tell her why I never came back … seeing her again made me realize that I’m still in love with her. And I think she’s still in love with me, too.”

We don’t know how Cal is going to process this information. But it looks like there’s a lot more to answer when we tune into Sullivan’s Crossing this Monday.
