1Create Paper Tulips
Craft and Prop Styling: Alex Mata; Photo: Mike GartenObsessed with tulips? Then your Easter guests will be impressed by these paper beauties. To make the tulips, use colored crepe paper and paint paper mâché eggs to match it, then let dry completely. Cut flower petals from crepe paper (feel free to cut multiple sheets at once for efficiency). Stretch the petals gently to add natural curve and dimension. Glue petals to the base of each egg, overlapping them to fill any gaps. Let them dry.
Wrap length of floral wire with floral tape. Insert one end of the wire through the bottom of each egg flower, applying extra glue to secure it in place. Finish by attaching green crepe paper leaves.
2DIY Egg Candles
Photography and Candle Craft: Mike Garten; Prop Styling: Alex MataTake a cue from Good Housekeeping's very own photographer, Mike Garten, and dream up these wax wonders for your Easter table. To make these candles, you'll need some blown-out eggs. Use a needle to puncture a small hole at the top of the eggshell for the wick. Make a quarter-size hole at the bottom with a spoon. Next, thread the wick through the top hole, keeping the metal base aligned with the bottom. Secure the wick by placing a small piece of softened wax at the top of the shell.

3Make Bottle Brush Carrots
Crafts: Lis Engelhart and Alex Mata; Prop Styling: Lis Engelhart; Photo: Mike GartenIf you're hosting Easter brunch this year, have a little fun by adding a bunny-approved touch to every seat. Start by spray-painting bottle brush trees orange, and letting them dry. Then, use wire cutters to cut off the wooden base of each tree. Cut several strings of green raffia of equal length and hot-glue them to the remaining wire stem of each tree. Wrap another piece of raffia around the base, gluing it in place to finish the look. They're cute enough to reuse year after year!
4Show off Egg Coasters
Prop Styling: Alex Mata; Craft Styling: Lis Engelhart; Photo: Mike GartenWow guests and protect your Easter table with these DIY egg coasters, made from replacement glass for oval picture frames.
For the first step, you'll need to make sure the glass is completely clean then cut fabric 1” larger than the glass. Paint a generous amount of ModPodge on one side of the glass. Lay it on top of the fabric and smooth out any wrinkles or air bubbles. (Be sure to cover your work station with wax paper or parchment to catch any excess ModPodge.) Next, cover with a heavy book and wait several hours for it to completely dry. Once it's dry, trim around the edge of the glass with fabric scissors.
