As a toy editor obsessed with Stitch from Lilo & Stitch, I knew Just Play's Disney Stitch was going to be a hit the second I saw it. I was even more sure of it when I got my hands on one this summer—but more on that later.

What I didn't know (but should've guessed!) was that this interactive plush, which earned a 2025 Good Housekeeping Toy Award, was going to sell out on Amazon fast. Well, good news for anyone hoping to get their hands on Stitch as a Christmas gift for the little ones in their life: He's back in stock after being stuck on pre-order for several weeks.

At $66, this 17-inch-tall plush toy is probably the closest you'll get to having a "real" Stitch in your home. Don't worry, while he's capable of over 100 sound and motion combinations, he's not nearly as destructive as the precocious alien from the movies.

Per our tester, "It was a favorite among kids even when they had a room full of toys to play with." And I'm not surprised. Made for ages 3 and up, this toy even has this 51-year-old smitten.

Press his nose, give him a hug, or hold his hands to get him to do things like giggle, dance, or throw a tantrum. After a few moments of inactivity, Stitch will utter a string of random phrases before putting himself into sleep mode. Keep plenty of AA batteries on hand, because I imagine Stitch will quickly become an active part of your Ohana!

Psst: If Just Play's Stitch sells out again—or if you're looking for something even more budget friendly—this interactive Many Moods Stitch has LCD eyes and utters 50 phrases as well as sounds, per the brand.
