Whitney Leavitt, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives alum and Good Housekeeping’s latest cover star, has a lot on her plate, from starting her own production company to raising three kids alongside her husband, Conner.
Our Editor in Chief Elspeth Velten recently visited the couple at their new house in Utah where they moved after Whitney starred in Chicago on Broadway. “It was very hard to leave New York, but it wasn’t working for our family and our kids,” Whitney, 33, told Good Housekeeping. “We enjoyed the opportunities—we never wanted to say no. But we needed groundedness.”
The shoot shows that between backyard bubbles and playroom breaks with the kids, they’ve found just that. And while it’s impossible not to notice their sprawling “base camp,” as Whitney calls it, my eyes were drawn to everything Whitney wore in our pages—especially her scalloped button-down dress. And, as it turns out, it’s on sale for $69.
This, of course, wasn’t the only fierce outfit Whitney had on (H/T stylist Eliza Yerry). There was a vibrant floral set by Dorothee Schumacher (I’m obsessed with the bold black collar), as well as a bubblegum-pink midi from AKNVAS, which features the prettiest 3D flowers.
I also adored her trendy office siren vibes in this matching gray pinstripe top and skirt that’s perfect for early autumn days.
Nearly everything (besides the white dress, which is in my cart) has a flower on it. In my opinion, this was the perfect nod to how she’s gracefully blooming into her next chapter.
