People born in June get the benefit of having two birth flowers: roses and honeysuckle. Roses are versatile and can have different meanings depending on their color, according to the Almanac: red for love, pink for happiness, white for purity, yellow for joy and so on. Honeysuckle is also associated with love, including excitement for a new love and nostalgia for old flames. (And what is a June baby if not a new love?)

There are only three months that have three birthstones — June, August, and December — so June babies can take their pick, depending on their mood. The three stones for June are pearl, alexandrite and moonstone, and they each have different meanings.

Pearls, the only gems made from living creatures, are often associated with purity and innocence, according to the Gemological Institute of America. Moonstone is known for its adularescence, or its inner glow, and is said to bring love, passion and fertility. And alexandrite, named after Alexander II of Russia, is known for changing color depending on the lighting, making it a unique stone.

When it comes to zodiac signs, June babies fall into one of two camps. Those born before June 20 are Gemini, whose sign is the twins. This means Gemini babies are said to have a duality within them, which sometimes makes them easy to adapt to different situations, but can also cause them to be seen as indecisive. Some people say they never know who the "true" self is inside a Gemini.

The Cancer babies, born between June 21 and July 22, are, on the other hand, great communicators. They're also said to be empathetic nurturers who are emotionally intelligent — far from the reputation of their symbol, which is the crab.
