Step one: Come back the same weight
Slow your BPM – that's bites per minute – by choosing food like fish on the bone and corn on the cob. Studies show that slowing our BPM is one of the most effective ways to eat less.
Step two: Make drinks that clink
Add a good handful of ice to alcoholic drinks for an easy boost to hydration levels. Alternatively, use frozen grapes – sweet red ones work best.
Step three: Seashore meditation

Step four: Bye-bye digi-stress
Some hotels now offer tech-free travel packages (with phones, iPads etc surrendered upon arrival). Ungluing yourself from a screen has been found to reduce stress, increase calm, and improve sleep. If you can’t part with your phone on holiday, limit yourself to one – okay, two – check-ins a day. Instead use your holiday head-space to think about healthy changes you can make when you get back home.
