The first Miss Marple novel I ever read was The Body In The Library and it got me hooked on Agatha Christie's work for life. It's a brilliantly addictive mystery – one of her best.

Coming From Behind by Howard Jacobson

Product, Sleeve, Shoulder, Dress shirt, Door, Collar, Elbow, Job, Belt, Home door,

Coming From Behind by Howard Jacobson is a novel that I felt must have been written especially for me. It's the story of a bright but bitter young man who has had his hopes raised by a Cambridge education and is finding it difficult to adjust to a life of mediocrity. It's savagely funny and has me weeping with laughter every time I reread it.

Text, Font, Calligraphy, Poster, Graphic design, Invitation, Publication, Graphics,

Edna, on the other hand, wrote brilliantly witty, moving poems that achieved the perfect balance between head and heart and made me feel less alone.
