A picture of a group of female soldiers posing in uniforms has gone viral.
Why? Because in the snap, the women are breastfeeding their babies at the same time.

The snap was taken by photographer Tara Ruby, who is ex-military and wanted to support women like her who were forced to choose between being a mother and a soldier.
This came after Fort Bliss, an army post in Texas, opened a nursing room, giving mothers a place to breastfeed for the first time, instead of them having to hide away.
I posted this on here last night at 11:59pm. It has since disappeared from my feed and my wall. So we are posting this...

Tara told CNN, 'Seeing a picture like that helps mothers understand they can be an active soldier and provide support to their children.
'Breastfeeding their babies doesn't make them less of a soldier, I believe it makes them a better one. Juggling the tasks and expectations of a soldier, plus providing for their own in the best way they possibly can, makes (these) ladies even stronger for it.

'I was on active duty a long time ago when support for breastfeeding mums wasn't even an option or a consideration. We have come so far.'
Facebook initially took the picture down, however it has now been shared more than 10,000 times after Tara posted it again.
Powerful indeed.
