With Easter approaching on April 5, the window for ordering basket stuffers is rapidly closing—but while there’s still some time (if you hurry!), our editors have been obsessing over Build-A-Bear’s Easter collection.
You likely think of Build-A-Bear as a brick and mortar where you stuff your own plushes and dress them up yourself, but you can also order a custom one online and have it delivered straight to your door, all stuffed and dressed. Build-A-Bear is even offering expedited shipping for delivery in time for Easter.
The brand is not only popular among little kids, but also with teens who are bound to love the springy Sanrio Dreamy collection that features Hello Kitty and a lot of her pals (we’re partial to this rainbow Cinnamaroll). Even if you opt for an Easter-themed plush with a basket or ears, most of the accessories are removable, so these cuties can be enjoyed long after the holiday.
As a mom, I’ve been buying Build-A-Bear stuffed animals for my daughter for the last two decades, and I love that they’ve branched out to create so many licensed options, like this cute Bluey and her sister Bingo. There’s even a nervous Piglet from Winnie-the-Pooh, just in time for the 100th anniversary of the beloved character.
If your kid is obsessed with blind boxes (who isn’t, really?), the Golden Eggs are filled with surprise plushes. And while it might be cutting it a bit close to get one of the personalized animals (like this frog) for Easter, they would make cute personalized birthday gifts, too.
