If you haven’t heard, people are obsessed with tiny homes these days, and I have to admit that as a home editor, browsing standout models on Amazon never gets old.
There are a few reasons for the tiny home craze. Some people are drawn to the minimalist lifestyle and lower carbon footprint. Others simply crave more living space that their current property is unable to provide. Rather than blow their budget on a home addition or full-on renovation, they can place a tiny home right in their backyard (if space allows).
That brings me to this stunning two-story prefab house on Amazon that you can have delivered to your door—and it can be fully customized to suit your aesthetic. The modular shipping container is made from steel and has a folding mechanism, making it easier to ship and transport, even after the initial delivery.
The brand recommends it be used as a commercial space, like a restaurant or coffee shop, but it can really become anything you want! Think an office, crafting zone, or spacious guest house. Build it in your backyard for more square footage, or drop it on a commercial lot if you’re dreaming of starting a business. Keep in mind, a commercial space would require licenses.
If you've been curious about pre-fab homes, this pick on Amazon is worth a look. We also found some other dreamy models below.
