Long-running Good Morning America host Robin Roberts just wore the perfect summer-to-fall dress, and I’m obsessed with how it feels equal parts polished and effortless. I’m even more thrilled that the dress is decently affordable—even at retail price.
First of all, we love the bright carrot color—it only emphasizes Robin’s lively spirit. The collared neck and buttons make the dress business smart for workwear, but airy embroidery at the end of each sleeve adds a unique touch.
Robin was seen wearing the dress while sitting alongside fellow hosts George Stephanopoulos and Sam Champion. The panel was talking to The Pitt actress Sepideh Moafi, who plays Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, and they asked about her experience on the show as well as her recent Emmy nomination.
Robin’s dress stood out beautifully on camera; she paired it with a wide-strap brown belt (which comes with the dress), plus gold jewelry with autumnal burgundy and orange accents.
Luckily, it was easy to find the dress online, thanks to Robin being an open book. She wore the dress in an uplifting Instagram post—and when a fan wrote how much they loved her dress, Robin responded back, “Thank you, dress is from @annekleinofficial.”
Turns out that it’s the brand’s Belted Linen Blend Shirtdress, and it’s on sale in all sizes (0–16) at Macy’s for 50% off! You can also get it at Nordstrom (where it’s still at retail price and limited sizes are available).
Further research told me that the belt is embossed with Anne Klein’s logo (and you can take the belt off with the buckle if desired). According to the brand, the material is made from a linen-viscose blend, which means it’s likely lightweight and breezy.
Now that it’s August, Robin’s dress has me thinking about slowly transitioning my wardrobe for the upcoming fall season (and I’m so excited!).
