There are few things I look forward to more than Red Cup Day at Starbucks. Last year, I lined up early to increase my chances of getting one of the limited-edition cups. And fortunately, the beloved coffee holiday is back this year. Looking to clear the date on your calendar? We have everything you need to know about when Red Cup Day is this year and how to score a free reusable cup (while supplies last, of course).

When is Red Cup Day at Starbucks?

Starbucks' Red Cup Day returns this year on Tuesday, November 17. That means you can head to your local Starbucks for a chance to get your hands on a free, reusable, limited-edition red cup with the purchase of a holiday beverage.

The design of the cup hasn't been released yet, however, if we had to venture a guess it'll be adorable with festive accents and symbols—and who knows, maybe even a Bearista.

How to get a red cup at Starbucks

You might already know the drill; if not, we have you covered. To get the famous red cup at Starbucks, you'll need to buy a holiday beverage on Red Cup Day (November 17) to be eligible for a collectible reusable red cup, while supplies last.

Speaking of holiday beverages, Starbucks has added a few new holiday offerings to its menu this year. You'll find a Tiramisu Velvet lineup, an Apple Pomegranate Refresher and a cake pop inspired by the Bearista mascot, to name a few. Returning favorites include the Cranberry Bliss Bar, Snowman Cookie, and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish.

You'll want to line up early because Starbucks fans don’t play around when it comes to limited-edition merchandise!
