Trends come and go… and then they usually come back again. One recurring trend that I’ve been seeing on social media (and IRL) is the Coach bag trend. The designer purses that were all the rage in the early aughts are having another moment in the spotlight, and even celebrities are getting in on the nostalgic fun.

Most recently, singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini was seen carrying a leather Coach Tabby shoulder bag in a chalky-white while out and about in New York City with actress Nina Dobrev. And the outfit she wore with the bag was genius—Kelsea somehow managed to put together a carpet-ready look with a simple white tank.

We think this outfit is extremely easy to recreate. Start with a white tank, which you probably already have in your closet. If not, there are a ton on Amazon for $10 or less.

Kelsea tucked her tank into a semi-sheer skirt (which we think is from Veronica Beard, but I found some similar options). I personally love how the beige from her skirt almost seemed to match the bag’s brass hardware—it’s an elevated springtime look that I’m hoping to replicate this season. I’m also obsessed with the sequins, which are very reminiscent of the 2000s.

It’s clear that Kelsea thoughtfully chose colors that went well together, all the way down to her shoes, for which she opted for white stilettos. The creams and gold hues felt cohesive and effortlessly balanced.

That said, Kelsea’s Coach Tabby bag is available in eight additional colors and designs (I, personally, just noticed the beaded black-fringe bag—and I think it’s my new favorite.) Regardless of your vibe, there’s likely a Tabby that’ll match your aesthetic. By the looks of it, Kelsea’s bag had the included 21.5-inch detachable long strap (versus the 9.5-inch short one).

This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed someone famous wearing a Coach bag in recent weeks—and a Tabby, no less. Earlier this month, Elle Fanning was photographed wearing the same purse that Kelsea owns, but in a dark brown shade. She also paired her bag with a chic springtime style, complete with a floral dress and black wedges.

Sure, Elle is a Coach brand ambassador, but in general, Coach bags are seemingly becoming more and more popular by the minute, with searches for “Coach bag Tabby” increasing 60% on Google since 2021. Inquiries for “Coach bag,” in general, are also up 60% within the past five years.

I don’t know about you, but this is totally a recurring trend that I can get behind.
