Dresses are my go-to for travel; they’re easy to throw on, effortlessly cute, and take up way less space in my carry-on than jeans do. Plus, they’re the comfiest thing to wear if you’re headed to the airport and dread the long-haul flight that awaits. If you’re anything like me and like having a few dresses on hand (especially when you’re on a trip), then Amazon is practically a fashion haven for summer vacation dresses.

Here at Good Housekeeping, readers and staffers are fans of various Amazon dresses—they’re fairly affordable (most are $50 and under) and arrive in just a couple of days—making it easy for packing procrastinators like myself. The retailer is bursting with different options, from breezy cover-ups to pretty shirt dresses and linen styles that'll keep you cool—including dresses that’ll take you from a long plane ride to your first stop once you land.

Why we like it: Our readers loved this dress during Prime Day last year, and I predict it’ll be just as popular this summer. It’s a fun, casual option that falls right above your knees—and you get two side pockets. The V-neck subtle, but it adds an interesting cut around your neckline.

Why we like it: We’ve seen this dress selling for $6 in the past—but when it’s not on sale, it’s rarely more than $20. The dress is short (but not too short), stopping right above the knees. It’s the perfect go-to for hot summer days, and it comes in plus sizes.

What you should know: This A-line dress is fitted by your chest, but it flares out at the bottom; it drapes over you like a T-shirt. Make sure to line dry.
