Spring is notoriously a tough season to dress for. Some days are frigid and others are shockingly warm, which makes a light jacket essential. Leave it to Oprah to totally nail the perfect layered look with a trendy denim-on-denim outfit that I’m dying to mimic this season.
Earlier this month, she was seen out and about in New York City rocking a unique embellished denim jacket by Chloé. Along with trendy puff sleeves and a band collar, it features two oversized pockets adorned with gold-toned chains. It retails for… well, a lot of money (over $2,000), but we found a ton of similar options that are more affordable.
Many don’t have the iconic chain detailing that the Chloé jacket does, but that’s what accessories are for, right?
Oprah paired it with some golden, dangly earrings and oversized sunnies. She finished the look with matching jeans, a cherry red handbag, and pointed-toe heels.
Oprah is clearly no stranger to good taste, and this wasn’t the first time I’ve been in awe of her fashion choices (many of which are available on Amazon). Earlier this year, when the star appeared on TODAY, she raved about a $25 crop top from Amazon (and if our assumptions are correct, this was the cropped button-up in question).

Oprah’s even a fan of the viral Lola Blankets, and I couldn’t agree with her more. The Lola Blanket I have at home is by far the softest blanket I’ve ever felt in my life; I still don’t understand how a throw blanket can feel so fuzzy.
Anyway, it’s easy to say that I trust Oprah–and I’ll be shopping around for a denim jacket just like hers before summer officially starts.
