Lori Loughlin announced she’s teaming up with Hallmark for a new Garage Sale Mystery movie.
The news comes after fans learned Lori would return to When Calls the Heart as Abigail Stanton in season 14.
The last Garage Sale Mystery movie premiered on Hallmark in 2020, and the franchise has 16 TV films in total.
Lori Loughlin is back on Hallmark—and she just announced something major about one of her movie franchises.
Back in 2013, fans were introduced to the TV movie series Garage Sale Mystery. The franchise starred Lori as antique store owner Jennifer Shannon and followed her as she used her attention to detail and bargain-hunting abilities to help solve crimes and murders in her town. Fans clearly loved it, as the franchise quickly expanded to include 16 TV films, with the last one, Garage Sale Mysteries: Searched and Seized, premiering in 2020.
After Lori left Hallmark and its hit series When Calls the Heart in 2019 amid the Operation Varsity Blues college admissions scandal, fans wondered whether they would ever see another Garage Sale Mystery movie. Well, Lori surprised fans with a major announcement: a new Garage Sale Mystery movie will premiere in the fall of 2026 on Hallmark.
“Hi everyone!” she began a video posted on When Calls the Heart’s official Instagram on June 30. “I am so excited to announce that we are bringing Garage Sale Mystery back! It’ll be coming your way sometime this fall. You can watch it on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+ the next day.”
Fans were ecstatic about the prospect of a new Lori movie.
“Yay!! Absolutely love garage sale mysteries and so glad you are back on Hallmark too! You were missed!” one person exclaimed in the comments. “This is HER year!! We love you Lori! 🥹🫶,” another cheered. “STOPPPPPPPP. This made my freaking day!!!! 😂🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼,” a different follower added.
This isn’t the only Hallmark project Lori is a part of at the moment. As revealed on Instagram in December 2025, Lori will make her grand return as Abigail Stanton on When Calls the Heart season 14 in 2027. She’s previously expressed her gratitude for the opportunity.
“It’s just so nice to be back with my family,” she said during a surprise appearance at the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City, Missouri, at the time, per Parade. “It feels amazing and my girl [Erin Krakow] here has been championing this for a long time. I just want to thank everyone at Hallmark for being so loving and so welcoming … And this just feels incredible.”
We’re so excited to see what’s next!
