We’re one step closer to heading back to the tavern, Happy’s Place fans!

The hit NBC series is gearing up for its season 3 premiere on October 23, 2026, and fans have been eager to see what’s next. While we won’t know what the series has in store until the first episode, star and executive producer Reba McEntire gave us an unexpected update.

The actress posted photos from Happy’s Place season 2 on Instagram (including one where Reba’s character, Bonnie, kisses bar cook Emmett, played by Reba’s real-life fiancé, Rex Linn), and announced that the cast was filming new episodes.

“We’re officially back in production on the third season of #HappysPlace ... it’s like a family reunion! 🍻,” she wrote in the caption on August 14. “Catch up on all episodes on @peacock before season 3 premieres this October on @nbc 📺.”

After Reba posted, her co-star Melissa Peterman, who plays Gabby on the sitcom, ran to the comments with excitement.

“❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ So happy to be back!!!” she said.

Just like Melissa, fans were ecstatic to see Reba drop the update.

“YAYYY!!!!!😆🎉🧡 October Can’t Come Soon Enough!!” one person exclaimed. “Catch up!? I’ve been rewatching Happy’s Place since season two ended! 😂 Can’t wait for season three!” another penned. “YAY!! Can't wait to see the new season. Love watching you all 💙💙💙,” a different follower added.

The show’s official Instagram noted the upcoming season 3 premiere back in June.

“Mark your calendars! 🗓️,” the caption read. “Your favorite spot is back. Happy’s Place returns Friday, October 23rd at 8/7c on NBC. Don’t miss it! 🎉.”

We can’t wait!
