Reba McEntire’s popular sitcom, Happy’s Place, got renewed for season 3 on NBC in February 2026.
Fans learned on June 24 that Happy’s Place season 3 will premiere on Friday, October 23, 2026, on NBC.
Reba’s co-star, Melissa Peterman, spoke out on why fans continue to follow Happy’s Place after so many years.
We’re heading back to the tavern, Happy’s Place fans!
The hit sitcom has aired on NBC since late 2024, and viewers adore watching Reba McEntire portray a bar owner who works alongside her long-lost younger half-sister. Couple that with kooky employees, an on-and-off romance with the bar’s chef, and plenty more, and it makes sense folks want more.
Well, the wait is officially over: Just four months after the show got renewed for another season, folks learned via Instagram that Happy’s Place season 3 will premiere on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
“Mark your calendars! 🗓️,” the caption read alongside a photo of Reba and her co-star, Melissa Peterman. “Your favorite spot is back. Happy’s Place returns Friday, October 23rd at 8/7c on NBC. Don’t miss it! 🎉.”
Fans were thrilled by the big news.
“Yay 🎉 ... Looking SO forward to this show being back on,” one person wrote in the comments. “SO excited for Season 3! This show is just so happy and pleasant … just where I want to be,” another cheered. “Counting down the days, don't want to speed summer up, but Fall, I'll be looking forward to!!” a different follower added.
Melissa shared why she thinks the show connects with fans.
“What I love about Happy’s Place is that it feels familiar, but it also has a modern spin on it,” she stated in a clip posted on Instagram on June 16. “We explore the themes of found family, and maybe the families that we were born into are not always perfect. So, you find those families at work.”
We can’t wait to see what’s next!
