High Potential just dropped major news.
Fans have been eagerly waiting to hear when season 3 will arrive. In an Instagram video featuring Morgan Gillory (Kaitlin Olson), viewers learned that ABC will air a two-part episode of High Potential on Sunday, February 14, 2027.
The episode will air right after the Super Bowl.
“You don't need Morgan's IQ to know this is BIG. 🧠🏈,” the caption read on October 12. “A special episode of #HighPotential will air immediately after Super Bowl LXI, February 14 on ABC and Disney+!”
Fans couldn’t believe the news.
“Post Super Bowl slot?! Oh this is HUGE! Gimme 20 seasons of this show!!” one person exclaimed in the comments. “Definitely more excited to watch this than the Super Bowl :),” another agreed. “CAN'T WAIT!!! LOVE this show!!! ❤️,” a different follower added.
Others were upset they had to wait so long.
“WHY SO FAR AWAY??!! 😫,” one person cried out. “Sooo annoying that the season is sooo far away 😣😣😣😣,” another penned. “OMG February cannot come fast enough! can we have high potential first then Super Bowl?” another questioned.
For what it’s worth, the Super Bowl episode won’t be the first new episode of High Potential. According to Deadline, season 3 is expected to premiere sometime in January 2027.
Season 2 ended with Morgan and Nick Wagner (Steve Howey) finally kissing after a long build-up. Nick was also critically injured, leaving fans to wonder about his fate.
