High Potential has been renewed for season 3, with new episodes airing in the winter of 2027 on ABC.
Actor Daniel Sunjata, who plays Adam Karadec, teased that High Potential is officially in production for season 3.

The hit procedural drama was renewed for season 3, with new episodes expected to air on ABC in the winter of 2027. Although it will be a while before we see what’s in store for Morgan Gillory (played by Kaitlin Olson) and Detective Adam Karadec (played by Daniel), Daniel gave us a sneak peek at something ahead.
As Daniel shared on Instagram on August 7, the cast of High Potential had its first table read for season 3.
“To begin again from the beginning,” he wrote as a hashtag in the caption. “We are back!”
Unsurprisingly, fans were ecstatic to see this behind-the-scenes look.
“OMGGGG, I'M SO EXCITED 😍😍 I LOVE HIGH POTENTIAL SO MUCH 🫰🏻🫰🏻🥹,” one person shouted in the comments. “Been waiting for this!! 🔥🔥😍,” another exclaimed. “Literally can’t wait omgggg 🙌🙌,” a different follower cheered.
The news comes just three months after Kaitlin teased there may be more to come for Morgan and Karadec.
“Oh, I wish I could tell you everything,” she shared at the Disney Advertising Upfront in May 2026. “There’s always the will they or won’t they with Karadec. There’s a lot of heartbreak at the end of this season, but I really love seeing Morgan struggle and get it wrong, because it makes her human.”
