This super simple coffee cake is Tyra Banks's family recipe.

Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3 large eggs
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

1. Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and nutmeg until no lumps remain. Stir in vegetable oil. Reserve 1 1/2 cup mixture for topping; set aside.
2. Step 2Into mixture in large bowl, stir baking soda, eggs, buttermilk, and cinnamon to topping. Spread batter in greased 13-inch by 9-inch pan; sprinkle with topping. Bake 45 minutes until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean.
