As someone who’s constantly scrolling through social media on the lookout for the next big trend or viral product—it’s part of my job!—I’ve seen quite a few videos about Grüns. (If you’re chronically online like me, I’m sure you have, too.) The multivitamins have a big fan base, and celebs like Jenna Bush Hager, Bethenny Frankel, Drew Barrymore, and more have been seen promoting them.
When I first noticed how popular Grüns were, I wasn’t totally sold on the fad (I thought they were just another trendy supplement that had gone viral and was backed by influencers). But after trying them for six months straight, I understand the hype.
When taken consistently, these tasty—yes, tasty—gummies have seemingly helped me sustain my energy throughout the day, support my gut health and regularity, and maintain a sense of clarity and concentration that simply wasn’t there before. Not to mention, they provided me with some essential nutrients my diet was missing when I started a GLP-1 last year.
What are Grüns?
Grüns Superfood Green Gummies are daily supplements that the brand says are designed to support gut health, energy, immunity, recovery, beauty, and cognition. They’re sold in individual serving-size packets, and each serving contains 21 vitamins and minerals, 6 grams of fiber, and a blend of more than 60 ingredients, including fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms.
The idea is convenience: Instead of taking a bunch of different supplements, you eat one packet of gummies per day. (Each adult serving includes eight gummies and each kid serving has six.) That turned out to be one of Grüns’ biggest advantages because it was easy to make the packet part of my morning routine.
Grüns also says its gummies undergo third-party laboratory testing to help ensure vitamin levels match the amounts listed on the label and that the gummies themselves are free of contaminants such as pesticides, heavy metals, microbes, and more. According to the brand, the most recent testing was performed by Light Labs in July 2026.
Why I started taking Grüns
Initially, I was curious about the Grüns hype. When I scored my first package, I slowly began incorporating them into my diet (a few servings per week). Eventually, I got into the habit of having one bag of Grüns at work every morning while catching up on emails. Before long, I was hooked because they made me feel energized and clear-minded.
And then I saw a viral video on Instagram (shocker) about how Grüns could help fill nutritional gaps and encourage bowel movements for those on GLP-1 medication. Since I had started Wegovy (semaglutide) for weight loss a few months prior—and, well, wasn’t as regular as I should have been—I figured I’d keep them as part of my morning routine.
What I noticed after taking Grüns consistently
Bowel movements came easier.
Grüns made it easier to go to the bathroom when I was feeling, well, backed up (which was often when I first began the medication). Many people experience constipation when they’re on a GLP-1—my doctor warned me about this—but I attribute the 6 grams of fiber per serving in Grüns to helping me feel more regular over time. (I started noticing this about one month into taking Grüns consistently.)
I felt energized and clearheaded.
I’m no stranger to the afternoon slump—but after consistently taking Grüns each morning for six months straight, that overwhelming sense of fatigue began to slowly fade. My energy began to feel stable around 2 p.m., and my head didn’t feel as foggy. Of course, these are personal observations, but I assume the gummies provided nutrients and vitamins that my body needed to stay alert during the day.
This, again, was especially important when I was in a calorie deficit due to my medication. However, keep in mind that Grüns aren’t meant to replace meals.
Why gummies work better for me
When it comes to supplements, you might be wondering why I don’t take one multivitamin in the morning and call it a day. (Simple, right?) To be honest, I like the taste of Grüns. I look forward to sitting down at work and having a bag of ‘em; it’s like a healthy little snack.
And speaking of their taste, I also enjoy that the company releases new flavors pretty regularly. I began my Grüns journey taking the original green gummies (which taste a little bit like tart apples, in my opinion)—but lately, I’ve been eating the Bello Banana Berry flavor, which is reminiscent of a strawberry-banana milkshake in gummy form.
Grüns are also super convenient—because instead of lugging around a bottle of multivitamins, I can throw a bag of Grüns in my purse in the morning and call it a day. (Again, I’ve begun the habit of keeping them at my desk—but if I’m traveling, they’re easy to transport from point A to B.)
However, one package of 28 Grüns bags takes up much more space than a bottle of daily multivitamins, so make sure you have room for them (whether you’re keeping them in your kitchen cabinet or your work desk).
Plus, I learned from the Good Housekeeping Institute that gummies can be a less stable form of supplements because heat, humidity, and general storage conditions might affect potency over time. Of course, that’s why third-party testing is important with gummies; quality and consistency can vary across brands.
And while we’re comparing Grüns to standard multivitamin pills, I’ll note that these gummies aren’t tailored to your specific nutritional needs (what you get is, well, what you get). Some other brands let you pick exactly what vitamins you need, but these gummies are prepacked.
The bottom line
After eating Grüns each morning for six months (while simultaneously using a GLP-1), I’ve felt more regular, energized, and clear-minded. And although I was gifted my initial Grüns packages, I plan on buying more when I run out.
Needless to say, I love ‘em—but everyone is different, and not every person taking Grüns will feel the same. My experience is specifically different than others since I’ve been utilizing the supplements to fill a nutritional gap while taking a weight-loss drug. (However, I also see a GLP-1 doctor pretty consistently throughout the year to help ensure I’m getting the vitamins I need daily while also being in a calorie deficit.)
Regardless, you should always talk to your doctor before beginning a new supplement—and if you’re in the market for one that’s easy to take and tasty, I’d definitely recommend Grüns.
