Black Friday is a great time to buy gifts since it brings major discounts on both bigger retailers like Amazon and smaller brands that rarely host sales. As a shopping editor, I'm here to help you cut through the noise by rounding up just 10 truly great gifts on sale this week.
Right now, you can save on a myriad of Good Housekeeping Institute-tested items, like viral Owala water bottles and award-winning Bedsure throws. Plus, now's the time to invest in a Kindle e-reader—they almost never go on sale outside of Black Friday.

Who it's for: The friend who's always cold
Why we like it: This GH Seal-Holder and 2025 Bedding Award winner offers a snuggly, plush feel and a chic striped design for less than $15. Plus, it held up well in the wash during tests in the GH Institute's Textiles Lab. "The fabric feels extremely soft and cozy and looks gorgeous on my bed," a tester said.

Who it's for: The beauty guru
Why we like it: If you've been anywhere on #BeautyTok, you know that the Rare Beauty's liquid blush is one of the most viral products out there for its ultra-pigmented formula—and GH editors are fans, too. "I really liked that the liquid blush formula was easy to build and blend out," said Staff Writer Cameron Jenkins. "It's also very pigmented, so a little product goes a long way."

Who it's for: The frequent flyer
Why we like it: TikTok is obsessed with this gorgeous Black Cherry-colored version of the Owala FreeSip, named the best water bottle for travel by our Kitchen Lab. I have one myself, and I love how its slim design doesn't take up too much room in my duffel. Plus, its twist-off design slowly releases pressure, so you can avoid accidental spills on the airplane.

Who it's for: The trendy dad
Why we like it: If you've been loving the Ralph Lauren bear sweaters that have been going viral this season (but, like us, aren't willing to shell out $400+ to get the look), this trio of embroidered socks is the way to go. Each pair has a different iconic Polo bear embroidered on the side, so they're sure to look dapper with dress shoes and sneakers alike.
Sizes available: Men's 8-13
Who it's for: The healthcare worker with dry hands
Why we like it: If their hands are dried out from constant washing, treat them to this luxe hand care set from Maison Louis Marie. It comes with a hand cream and body and hand wash—named a top luxury soap pick by our Beauty Lab pros. You can choose from different scents, but I'm partial to Bois de Balincourt, a serene blend of sandalwood, cinnamon, and cedar.

Who it's for: The activewear aficionado
Why we like it: Lululemon is known for its activewear, but our pros are partial to the brand's accessories, like the top-tested Lululemon belt bag. But if your giftee already has one of the brand's iconic fanny packs, consider this stylish handbag made from the same fabric. We appreciate that its adjustable strap can be worn two ways: as a shoulder bag, or a wristlet.
Who it's for: The dad who loves a hobby
Why we like it: LEGOs aren't just for kids. The brand offers a ton of popular sets for adults and teens, including this recreation of New York City's skyline. Putting it together makes for a fun bonding activity with the kids, and it'll look stylish on his shelf or desk once complete. Ages 12+
Who it's for: The recent college grad
Why we like it: Instant Pot is one of our Kitchen Lab expert's top-tested cookware brands, and this mini, 4-quart version of the brand's beloved multi-cooker is compact enough for smaller kitchens. It offers a variety of functions like pressure cook, slow cook, steam, sauté, and more, making it ideal for young people learning how to cook.

Who it's for: The daughter who's always on trend
Why we like it: Charm necklaces are more thoughtful than your average jewelry gift, since they can be tailored to your giftee's personality. This heart-shaped base is cute on its own, and it can be customized with any charms of your choice. Just be sure to use code BF2025 at checkout for 25% off.

Who it's for: The bookworm
Why we like it: In case the avid reader in your life doesn't already have a Kindle, our editors recommend gifting them this Paperwhite version, which features a matte, paper-like screen and waterproof design. It rarely goes on sale outside of Black Friday, so it's worth scooping up now.

Who it's for: The audiophile with good taste
Why we like it: I've been wearing these wireless earbuds for almost a year now, and they're one of the most comfortable pairs I've ever tried—the contoured shape fits my smaller ears perfectly. Plus, the sound quality and adaptive noise cancelling are impressive, so I can enjoy my favorite songs and podcasts on my commute while tuning out crowded subway sounds.
