Game, set, match! The Princess of Wales has made her first appearance at Wimbledon for 2026 – and her beauty look smashes it. Kate arrived at the All England Tennis Club Championship today with a ponytail so sleek and groomed it would be the pride of any ball girl at the base line.
The Princess has been at many Wimbledon finals over the years, shaking hands with the neatly-coiffed youngsters responsible for chasing stray balls and ensuring a steady supply to the players. Today’s hair look could have come straight from that line-up.
Kate's gleaming brunette hair was perfectly combed into a shiny pony, with a ripple of soft, shiny waves cascading down her back. Any trace of ugly elastic band was hidden by a glossy, thick strand of hair wrapped around the join and secured invisibly underneath. Truly, ace.
The rest of her beauty look was classic Catherine. Her signature soft smokey eye was muted for daytime, while her lips and cheeks were gently accented with a matching English rose neutral. Her brows played the perfect game of doubles with her dark brunette hair, styled in a groomed, sleek arch and striking the right note between defined and soft.
The Princess also looked subtly tanned, perhaps from soaking up the recent sunny weather.
No doubt we’ll be seeing more of Kate as Wimbledon progresses but this opening look is a real winner.
