Now that winter's officially on the way, investing in a cosy puffer jacket is starting to feel like a very good idea indeed.
So you can bet we were excited to spot Marks & Spencer's longline padded jacket on Instagram, particularly since the brand says it's "as comfy as a duvet".
That's right, M&S has launched a Padded Duvet Coat in four chic colours – Black, Navy, Bark (dark green) and Silver – and it sounds like the winter cover-up of dreams.
"Getting out of bed when it’s cold and dark is easy when your coat’s as comfy as a duvet," M&S wrote on the post, which has racked up thousands of likes and admiring comments.
"I have this in the green," wrote one happy customer. "It’s lovely like wearing a duvet and it did repel the rain."
Another added: "I have this in navy, it's so warm!!!"
The £99 hooded coat does sounds pretty perfect for chilly days. According to the product description, it's "quilted and padded for extra cosiness". Safe to say we're sold.
