Try our new 3-ingredient saucy pudding recipe, with a jaffa twist
We've replaced the lemon curd with marmalade, underneath a rich chocolate sponge.

We're at it again with our easy as 1-2-3 ingredient puddings. Whilst our 3-ingredient saucy lemon pudding was a hit, we couldn't resist a new take on the bake using marmalade and chocolate ice cream. The only thing missing are scoops of ice cream or a healthy drizzle of cream. We'll let you decide on that one.
Ingredients
- 300 g fine shred marmalade
- 300 g self-raising flour
- 920 ml good quality chocolate ice cream, melted (we used Jude's)
- 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa powder (optional)
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C) mark 4. Whisk the marmalade to loosen then pour into a 23 x 30.5cm baking dish and spread to level.
- Step 2In a bowl, whisk together the flour and melted ice cream until smooth.
- Step 3Pour the batter on top of the curd. Bake for 45-50min, or until cooked through. Serve immediately with a dusting of cocoa powder, if you like.
GH TIP
Serve this up with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream.
