London-based Rich McCor has taken Instagram by storm with his unique style of photography.
By simply using black paper, a pair of scissors and a camera, McCor transforms London landmarks, such as Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, in a serious of images documented on the social network.
In his first photograph, a cut-out of a watch was held over the clockface of Big Ben, with the witty caption: ‘Got a new wristwatch when I was in town earlier’.
McCor recalls, ‘It took a bit of walking up and down Westminster Bridge to find the right spot and get the depth of field right. Whilst I was there, a father and daughter who were intrigued by what I was doing approached me. I showed them the photo; they both smiled and said I should do more. It went from there.’

Further works feature one of the lion statues in Trafalgar Square being tantalised by a dangling paper ball of yarn, entitled: ‘Here Kitty’, and a cut-out bicycle completed with London Eye front wheel.
