Throughout the series of Great British Bake Off 2016, contestant Selasi Gbormittah took to Twitter to show that he knows how to throw a good party.
And it turns out the baker is an even greater host than we thought, as proven when fellow contestant Andrew Smyth joined Selasi for a sleepover.
Tweeting a photo of a delicious cake, Selasi wrote, ‘When @cakesmyth is spending the night so you bake him a cake! HA can’t have an empty cake stand can I? He has that judgemental kinda look’.
But when one Twitter user asked if the cake featured any incredible engineering features that Andrew applied to his bakes in the GBBO tent, Selasi replied, ‘haha it can move form one place (plate) to another (mouth). Closest it’ll ever get [to] engineering’.

After the fun and festivities were over, Selasi even dropped Andrew to the train station on his motorbike – talk about the perfect host!
Andrew wrote, ‘Just had the please of a @selasigb bike commute getting me to the station on time #vavavoom’.
To which, Selasi responded, ‘@cakesmyth there you go. Sam managed to grab a shot of you screaming haha. You’re a good pillion’.
Though Andrew was quick to claim he was ‘cool as a cucumber’.
We love that the GBBO class of 2016 are still such firm friends – and we’re also slightly jealous of that cake…
