Getting up at 4am can’t be easy, but it’s a must for the presenters of BBC Breakfast.
Even after two years hosting breakfast telly, Dan Walker still hasn’t got used to those early starts – and it seems sharing a room with his wife isn’t necessarily helping.

“The eyebags get bigger as the weeks go on” he told the Daily Mail. “I can be so tired come Wednesday night that it’s just pure nonsense coming out of my mouth. My wonderful wife occasionally adds to the problem too, by coming to bed later than me – and like a herd of elephants”.
Dan cited a particular incident where his wife encountered a giant insect in the bedroom while he was trying to sleep.
“Last month she woke up me being chased around the room by a big moth” he said. “I huffed and puffed, but still did the honourable thing and removed the aforementioned creature before moaning for ten minutes with my head buried under the pillow.”
