With hundreds of thousands of wellness products launching every year, and new health advice emerging almost daily, knowing what to believe and which products are genuinely worth it, can feel overwhelming. Yet, good physical and mental health have never felt more vital, especially as we get older.
In our recent survey, GH readers told us that they now prioritise long-term health and feeling good over weight management and how they look. They're also very open to trying new wellness brands. Yet, three in four feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of products on the market, and are looking for a trusted source of advice.
This is why the Good Housekeeping Institute is launching its Fit for Life Awards – to champion the products that truly deliver on their wellbeing claims. From fitness trackers with easy-to-read data you can trust, to workout kit that won’t let you down during your downward dogs, we’ll be putting the latest launches through their paces in the lab and with GH members at home, to bring you the wellness buys that will help keep you fit and healthy for the long-term.
Here’s everything you need to know.
How are the products for Good Housekeeping Institute's Fit for Life tested?
The GHI Fit for Life winners will be chosen by an expert panel, made up of our brilliant health and wellness editors and GHI experts, who will review each product against strict testing protocols in our lab gym. Where applicable, we will also send them out to GH members to trial at home before asking them to share detailed feedback via online questionnaires.
The review process
