The best women’s underwear on the high street, according to over 100 panellists (and it's not M&S!)
We tested Stripe & Stare, Spanx, Next and more

There's nothing worse than uncomfortable pants, whether it's elastic that digs in, less-than-generous gussets, an annoying VPL or constant wedgies, they can really disrupt your day. After several heated discussions in the Good Housekeeping office about disappointing knickers, we decided to get our experts on the case.
For the first time in its 102-year history, the Good Housekeeping Institute has been busy testing the best underwear. Our experts recruited over 100 panellists to help them put 25 different styles of knickers from leading brands, including Stripe & Stare, Freya, M&S and Next, through rigorous testing. Only the ones that truly impressed made it onto our list.
