Last year on Prime Day, I scored a deal on the Ninja Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo. It was the only thing I got during the big sale, and after a year of daily use, I can honestly say it’s the best kitchen upgrade I’ve made. Now that it’s heavily marked down again for this year’s event, I’m spreading the word: My favorite countertop appliance is nearly half off.

Why I love it

I avoided getting an air fryer for a long time because I really didn’t want another appliance on my kitchen counters, especially since I honestly wasn't sure how often I'd use it (apologies to my ice cream maker). But ever since I caved last year and added this device to my cart, it’s been worth every penny. With eight different cooking settings, it’s practically replaced my oven: I’ve been trying air fryer recipes, baking everything from potatoes to small batches of cookies, and my two teenagers use the pizza setting a lot.

I also love that it’s designed to stand on one end, freeing up counter space when it's not in use. I even got rid of my traditional two-slot toaster, saving even more space.

Just note that with everyday use, my Ninja Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo needs cleaning frequently. I usually put the racks in the dishwasher and wipe everything else down with a microfiber cloth for easy cleanup.

The Ninja Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo is spacious and so easy to use. This model has a wire rack, an air fry basket, a sheet pan plus a crumb tray.

What the experts say

Our experts at the Good Housekeeping Institute Kitchen & Cooking Lab have tested various Ninja air fryers, including a similar model, the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven. They consider the Foodi one of the best air fryer toaster ovens on the market—but that’s only 36% off now.

In the review, they nod to the Foodi’s ample cooking space and air frying rack, adding that its air fry setting evenly cooked wings and fries to crispy perfection and even made a “gorgeously browned and level” cake. They also found that the display panel and buttons were super easy to use, making quick dinners a breeze.

My version—the Ninja Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo—is slightly different. It’s about 3 inches smaller than the Foodi, but I chose it because I preferred the button controls to the dial, and most importantly, it comes with an extra sheet pan. We use the sheet pan more than the other two racks, especially for baking and roasting.

Something to note: Neither model can fit a whole chicken for roasting. It's something to consider, but it isn't a deal-breaker for me and my family.

If you're looking to upgrade your current air fryer or need to save counter space too, take it from me—the Ninja Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo is a smart addition to your kitchen.
