As a full-time shopping editor who tests products for a living and a perfume collector (seriously, I have more than 50 bottles at home), I'm extremely picky about my fragrances. So when I heard that Bath & Body Works added some new designer scent dupes to its popular Everyday Luxuries collection—including Jo Malone's Wood Sage & Sea Salt, one of my all-time favorites—I had to see how they stacked up to the real deal.
For the uninitiated, Everyday Luxuries is Bath & Body Works' line of designer-inspired body mists—and it's also the subject of much debate on TikTok and Reddit. Sleuthing fragrance fanatics like myself can't stop guessing about which pricey scent inspired these under-$20 sprays. (Hint: one of the alleged original fragrances includes Delina by Parfums de Marly, which costs $410 per 2.5-ounce bottle.)
To help me sniff out which new Bath & Body Works fragrance mists are worth the hype, I recruited six of my fellow editors to help review them. We individually rated each scent from 1 to 10 (with 10 being the best) and gave honest feedback about the scent profile and wearability of each fragrance mist. Then, I averaged out the scores for a definitive ranking—and the winner was honestly surprising.
