THE DEAL: Take 41% off these sneakers our footwear experts’ best overall pick for running sneakers.

WHY WE LOVE IT: This lightweight, flexible sneaker is great for walkers or runners of all levels, whether you’re running a marathon or going on a short morning walk. “We especially like that they're strategically designed with more foam at the widest points of the shoe and more flexibility where they narrow,” said Emma Seymour, associate director of GH Institute's Textiles Lab and our resident footwear expert.

Our testers who tried the previous version of this shoe gave it perfect scores for comfort, cushioning, and said it’s breathable and runs true to size. There’s even a low heel drop (6 mm), which can help prevent knee and hip pain by promoting proper foot-striking form as you run.

THE DEAL: Take 26% off these versatile cross-trainers.

WHY WE LOVE IT: These sneakers are great for all sorts of activities, like walking, fitness classes, and strength training sessions in the gym. You can slip these shoes on and off when you’re in a rush, which can be great in the gym when you’re switching between walking on the treadmill and squatting weights (you’ll want a flat base for that, and many people like to just lift with socks and no shoes!). They’re also very lightweight, so your gym bag and feet won’t feel heavy.

One of our consumer testers shared, “Right when I put them on, they started molding to my feet.” Our testers also said these shoes were cushioning, comfortable, and breathable.

Many of our editors love New Balance sneakers for their comfort and designs (in fact, many of us wear the brand’s sneakers to the office). The suede exterior on this pair elevates an otherwise athletic sneaker, and the EVA foam in the midsole cushions each step. Keep in mind that suede is stylish, but not the most breathable or the best in the rain.

They’re even offered in as small a size as a 4, which can be hard to come by. Lastly, I especially love that these sneakers come in dozens of colors.

THE DEAL: Take 23% off this cushioned running sneaker.

WHY WE LOVE IT: Constructed with New Balance’s Fresh Foam X in the midsole, this sneaker is similar to the 1080 V14 with some slight differences. This sneaker is even lighter (8.3 ounces compared to 10.5 ounces), and this one does not have the rocker profile (so, it’s not specifically designed to help encourage proper foot-striking form). Compared to the 1080 V14, this breathable, cushioning, lightweight sneaker can be a better option for long-distance runners with ankle or calf pain.

Available in tons of colors like a pastel purple and a butter yellow, this sneaker is a fun addition to your athletic wardrobe. These sneakers are also made in four different widths, which I always appreciate as someone with super narrow feet.

THE DEAL: Get 25% off this chunky sneaker that’s perfect for everyday wear.

WHY WE LOVE IT: I love wearing a good chunky sneaker to work. They add some height, pair well with jeans or work trousers, and feel comfortable during my commute to and from the office (which involves thousands of steps per day!). This pair from New Balance caught my eye because of their plain white color with blue, purple, or pink detailing depending on which you choose. Or you can opt for solid black.

Not only do these sneakers match any outfit, but the cushioned soles make walking and standing comfortable. These sneakers have foam midsoles and heel pads designed to absorb impact with each step you take.

THE DEAL: Gymgoers can save 38% on these chic cross trainers.

WHY WE LOVE IT: This is another sneaker with New Balance’s DynaSoft midsole foam, which is ideal for cross-training, walking, and gym workouts. There’s tons of cushioning in this shoe, and the outsole has great traction, so it’s also a good sneaker for outdoor walking and workouts, too. Whether you’re walking three miles or jumping rope, this sneaker will be flexible as you move and cushion your landing with each step.

THE DEAL: Take 19% off this casual sneaker that goes with any outfit.

WHY WE LOVE IT: Everyone needs a pair of casual white sneakers in their closet, and this is a great pick (and it comes in eight colors!). The slim, low profile makes them easy to wear with a dress or jeans, and they’re versatile to match with any color in your wardrobe. Plus, they’ll be easy to pack into a suitcase or duffle bag for traveling. It’s not the steepest discount, but it’s a shoe that will never go out of style, so it’s an investment worth making. Plus, the suede outer material gives it a more luxe look than a regular running sneaker.

While these shoes look cute, they’re still designed to be comfortable. Constructed with the brand’s ABZORB midsole, these sneakers were designed with skateboarder Andrew Reynolds. The shoes are meant to have great traction (after all, you don’t want to slip off your skateboard!) with excellent shock absorption, all while looking slim and casual. These sneakers are unisex, and the size range is extensive, spanning from a 5.5 to 16.5 in women’s with regular and wide options.
