To know me is to know that I’ll never turn down an IKEA shopping trip. The labyrinth of aisles and showrooms never fail to provide me with inspiration for my own home decor or convince me that there’s at least one (or several) items that I need to leave with.
So, when I came across a TikTok video highlighting the brand’s pastel dishware, I did not hesitate to watch in full. Creator @jenni.rae filled the seven second video with images of IKEA’s display of plates and bowls in various shades of pink, purple, blue and green. “I’ll take one of everything,” she aptly captioned it.
Shoppers in the comments were quick to share that IKEA has long been a staple for quality dinnerware, making this collection no exception. “Their full sets of dishware are so worth it my family has been using them for over 12 years!,” one person commented.
Others shared their excitement for the spring influenced hues. “Omg the pink plates !!,” a commenter said. “I got the light blue set and I LOVE them,” another added.
The plates and bowls in the video appear to be part of IKEA’s FÄRGKLAR series, which comes in light blue, light pink, and matte green, and includes bowls, deep plates, plates, salad & side plates, and coffee mugs and tea cups. An entire 18-piece dinnerware set is selling for $59.99 on IKEA’s website (the matte green color is slightly less at $49.99 for 18 pieces), but a singular bowl, plate, or mug is between $2.99 and $4.99 each.
While the lilac plates seen in the video do no appear to be for sale on the website, IKEA does have 14 ounce lilac mugs from the collection available online for $4.99 each.
Should you prefer the deep green color seen in the video, you should know that it is part of IKEA’s PELARKAKTUS collection. Bowls and plates are available online at prices ranging between $4.49 and $5.49 each.
