Lacey Chabert has an unexpected idea for her next project.
The actress is currently busy with her latest TV show, Paris Is Always a Good Idea, airing now on Hallmark+. The romantic drama’s season finale drops on August 27, and Lacey celebrated the show’s setting on Instagram by recreating her favorite French dessert, a crème brûlée.
In a post on August 24, she documented herself making Martha Stewart’s version of the sweet treat, somewhat stumbling along the way. Nevertheless, she revealed she’s always dreamed of teaching fans to cook.
“Hey everyone! So in honor of my new show Paris Is Always a Good Idea, I’m gonna make my favorite French dessert, crème brûlée,” she said in the clip. “I always said I wanted a cooking show, but I don’t know. I think it’s harder than I thought.”
Fans seemed all for Lacey trying something new.
“Wait a Lacey cooking show oui oui,” one person wrote in the comments. “You’re the best !!!! I would watch your cooking shows every day 🤗 I love all your shows @thereallacey 🤗☺️,” another penned. “ I love creme brulee but have never made it. I think I might give it a go. While we don’t know if this dream will ever come true, we do know that Lacey has so many projects in the works. Her upcoming movie, Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, premieres November 28 on Hallmark.
