‘When Calls the Heart’ Fans, You’re Not Ready for Kevin McGarry’s Major Career News Ahead of Season 14

When Calls the Heart season 14 is in the middle of filming new episodes, but we’ll be seeing Kevin McGarry on our TV screens much sooner for something else!

With the hit Hallmark series gearing up for a new season in 2027, fans are ready to see the actor step back into the world of Hope Valley. But before Kevin reprises his role as Nathan Grant on WCTH, he’s partaking in Hallmark’s upcoming 2026 “Fall Into Love” lineup with a new movie airing in just a few weeks!

According to the network’s official website, Kevin is set to star in a new movie called The Spirit of Halloween. But that’s not all—the new film (which also stars Chesapeake Shores alum Meghan Ory) is slated to premiere on TV on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark.

We certainly can’t wait, and based on what Hallmark teased about the premise for The Spirit of Halloween, it’s going to be great!

The movie follows Everly Stone (played by Meghan), a young woman who is staunchly against celebrating Halloween every year. But when she encounters three friendly ghosts, she ends up on a journey to discover what she truly wants out of life and who she wants to spend her time with. Kevin plays Everly’s friend, and presumably, her possible love interest, Beau Madison.

And, as it turns out, Kevin’s not the only When Calls the Heart cast member who has a movie airing this fall!

Chris McNally (who portrays Lucas Bouchard) will also be starring in a Hallmark film this October, as he makes an appearance alongside girlfriend Julie Gonzalo in A Knight to Remember, premiering on October 3. The news also comes as Chris is about to star in the movie Love Finds You, which is also part of the “Fall Into Love” lineup, and will premiere on August 22 on Hallmark.

Excuse us as we go and mark our calendars!
