The Law & Order: SVU star is hosting the 2026 Emmy Awards on September 14, 2026, in Los Angeles. Before taking the stage as host, she made everyone’s jaw drop with her memorable look on the red carpet.
As Mariska walked and posed for the cameras, she looked absolutely incredible wearing a red sequined gown—with one sleeve hanging off her shoulder. The dress was cut into a mermaid-style silhouette and featured a longer train in the back. She completed the look with sky-high red heels.
As for her makeup, she went for a classic look with a smoky eye and neutral-colored lipstick.
And what’s more, we know that she’s making this a family affair, as her husband Peter Hermann and their kids—sons August and Andrew, and daughter Amaya—are there to support her along the way. And yes, Amaya is wearing a matching dress!
