Fans want to know whether Alison will star in a brand-new Hannah Swensen Mystery film, and she shared an update on Instagram.

Alison’s next movie, Best Served Cold: A Hannah Swensen Mystery, will premiere on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark.

Days of Our Lives alum Alison Sweeney has been working on Hallmark projects since 2013, and she’s appeared in a range of genres, from holiday to romance.

But she’s perhaps best known for her role in the Hannah Swensen Mystery movie series, which follows a small-town baker who is drawn into murder cases. The series includes 13 movies and sees her alongside costars Victor Webster, Barbara Niven, and plenty more. The last movie in the series premiered back in March.

Alison gave a huge clue about the franchise’s future on Instagram. Sharing a promo photo alongside Victor, she revealed that another movie is coming sooner than fans think.

Titled Best Served Cold: A Hannah Swensen Mystery, the film will officially premiere on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark.

“A disappearance and a murder are no match for Hannah and Chad. 🧁,” the caption read on the April 22 post. “@alisweeney and @iamvictorwebster star in Best Served Cold: A #HannahSwensen Mystery, premiering Saturday, May 16 at 8/7c. Stream it next day on @hallmarkplus.”

Fans were ecstatic about the news of a new Hannah Swensen Mystery film.

“OMG finally we have a date for the second new movie for this year.. sooo excited 😍🙌,” one person wrote in the comments. “I can't wait! I love these movies! According to the official title page on Hallmark’s website, the film will follow Hannah (played by Alison) and Chad (played by Victor) as they try to solve two potentially connecting mysteries. When the suspect in a forgery case is murdered, and the prosecutor of said case goes missing, Hannah and Chad must figure out what the two have in common before the trial begins.

Now, this is one mystery ready to be solved—and we can’t wait to watch it.
