The most wonderful time of the year is almost here—and I’m ready for Hallmark to help me get into the spirit.
For someone who has a deep love for everything about the holiday season, I’m all for staying at home, drinking hot cocoa, and watching any movie that evokes the feeling of magic. And, obviously, Hallmark is the channel I look to, especially because of its annual “Countdown to Christmas” movie event—and this year, it’s better than ever.
With 34 new movies to watch, Hallmark will be rolling out a new film every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night now through mid-December. And guess what? The first movie from the “Countdown to Christmas” lineup premieres on Friday, October 16.
Given how Hallmark loves to have a plethora of stars appear in the network’s holiday movies, it’s only natural that some of our favorites pop up during the “Countdown to Christmas” event. Expect appearances from When Calls the Heart stars Pascale Hutton and Kevin McGarry in different movies throughout the season, as well as Hallmark’s Christmas queen, Lacey Chabert, who’s bringing the magic of Disney with her in an all-new movie.
Keep scrolling to find the entire Hallmark 2026 “Countdown to Christmas” movie schedule!
Editor’s note: All movies are slated to air at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark. Summaries are adapted from Hallmark’s official movie descriptions.
