When Calls the Heart fans, let’s all go back in time to when Hope Valley first began.
In December 2025, Hallmark surprised fans by revealing that a prequel series was officially in the works for the WCTH universe. With the introduction of Hope Valley: 1874, fans would get to see how the town of Hope Valley came to be, even before our favorite place on the frontier got the beloved name fans know and love.
Starring Bethany Joy Lenz, Benjamin Ayres, Jill Hennessy, and others, Hope Valley: 1874 follows Rebecca Clarke, a single mother who moves to the Canadian frontier to build a better life for herself and her 11-year-old daughter. But when she gets stuck along the way, she must accept the help of rancher Tom Moore and Hattie Quinn and create a fresh start in a fledgling town she never expected to call home.
When Calls the Heart fans are sure to be excited about what’s to come in Hope Valley: 1874. So, ahead of the series premiere on Saturday, March 21, 2026, here’s exactly how to watch and stream the show as new episodes air.

Will Hope Valley: 1874 be on Hallmark?
