The Way Home season 4 is almost here … and Hallmark is giving us a first look at what’s to come.
With the final season of the hit drama airing on Sunday, April 19, 2026, on Hallmark, fans are more than ready to spend time with the Landrys and their loved ones. Ahead of the premiere, Hallmark decided fans needed a sneak peek of what’s on deck. An official season 4 promo dropped on March 13, featuring Del Landry (Andie MacDowell), Kat Landry (Chyler Leigh), Alice "Ali" Dhawan (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), Elliot Augustine (Evan Williams), and more.
While the snippet showed some hints at the happenings in Port Haven, it was Kat’s words about keeping family secrets hidden that created the most intrigue. “It seems like yesterday when we arrived here,” Kat said throughout the sneak peek.
When the trailer was posted on The Way Home’s official Instagram, the social team teased that maybe the Landrys will find what they’ve been looking for over the course of the series.
“Will the pond lead them to the answers they've been searching for, once and for all?” the caption read. “The final season of #TheWayHome premieres Sunday, April 19 at 9/8c, next day on Hallmark+.”
Given how sad fans are that Hallmark is ending The Way Home after four seasons, the promo stirred up strong emotions.
"I can’t believe this is the last season 😢 I love this show ❤️❤️,” one person lamented. “This being the last season is criminal. So many shows go on tooo long, and this was ended way too early! So many stories to tell 😣😣,” another penned. “I don’t want to say bye to my [favorite] show 😭,” a different follower noted.
As executive producers Heather Conkie and Alexandra Clarke told People on March 14, the time-traveling show will see the Landrys facing some of their toughest moments, all as they try to discover important secrets about their family’s past.
"Season 4 of The Way Home is all about new beginnings and uncertain futures," the two told the outlet. "On the cusp of Alice’s high school graduation, our three strong-willed Landry ladies face more independent next chapters … whether they’re ready or not. But lingering questions about the past still haunt them.”
"It’s a season filled with suspense, laughter, heart and heartbreak," they added. "A season where questions may be answered, but at unexpected and life-changing costs. A season that will ultimately remind us all that there is no greater love, no greater gift, and no greater power than that of family.”
