A new season of Pop Culture Jeopardy! is almost here … but something’s a little different this time around.
The hit Jeopardy! spinoff first aired on Amazon Prime Video back in 2024, and viewers loved that the series was dedicated to entertainment and pop culture. With Colin Jost emceeing, viewers tuned in every week to see teams of three test their knowledge in a tournament-style competition. By the end of the season, the winning team won $300,000, and the runner-up and third-place teams won $100,000 and $50,000, respectively.
Given how Pop Culture Jeopardy! has been off the air for a while, folks have been eager to know when season 2 will premiere. The show’s Instagram shared that on April 27, along with a change fans likely didn’t expect. Not only will Pop Culture Jeopardy! season 2 premiere on Monday, May 11, 2026, but new episodes will now air on Netflix instead of Amazon Prime Video.
“New after-work routine just dropped 🙂↔️,” the caption read alongside a trailer for the new season of Pop Culture Jeopardy!. “Watch the new season of Pop Culture Jeopardy! weekdays starting May 11 only on Netflix.”
Despite the unexpected change, fans were excited to see what season two has in store.
“My daughter and I loved the first season!! Can’t wait!!! 🔥,” one person wrote in the comments. “So pumped for this!!” another agreed. “Yay! I was asking for this to come out ...,” a different follower added.
As the announcement mentions, the entire season of Pop Culture Jeopardy! won’t air at once.
Instead, it’ll mimic Jeopardy!'s schedule, with new episodes dropping at 3 a.m. ET Monday through Friday, beginning on May 11. The finale will be on June 5.
We’re marking our calendars for this ASAP!
