Wheel of Fortune will return for season 44 this fall, with Maggie Sajak as social correspondent.
Maggie teased that filming for Wheel of Fortune is happening sooner than fans may expect.
The news comes as Celebrity Wheel of Fortune got a premiere date for an all-new season.
Wheel of Fortune fans, Maggie Sajak is gearing up for a new season.
The hit game show wrapped season 43 in June, and viewers are already itching for more of social correspondent Maggie and co-hosts Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White. While there’s still some time before new episodes air, Maggie teased in an Instagram video that Wheel of Fortune will start filming in August.
“Less than a month until work looks like this again,” she wrote over a video montage on July 22. The caption also read, “Season 44 here we come 🤩.”
Fans were thrilled to see the new development.
“Excited to see what 44 has in store! 💙,” one person wrote in the comments. “Bring it on!! Looking forward to Season 44,” another agreed. “Season 44 is gonna be so much fun to watch,” a different follower added.
The show hasn’t confirmed an exact season 44 premiere date. However, Wheel of Fortune tends to premiere the week after Labor Day. If this year continues the same trend, a new episode will drop on Monday, September 14, 2026.
This comes around the same time that ABC announced big news for the WoF spinoff series, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.
According to a post on Instagram on July 27, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune will debut with a brand-new season on Friday, October 2, 2026, on ABC.
“✨ New season. New spins. Same iconic wheel,” the caption read. “#CelebrityWheelOfFortune will return on October 2!”
