New episodes of The Voice season 30 air on Mondays on NBC.

Coach Kelly Clarkson announced who she recruited as her advisor for The Voice Battle Rounds.

The Voice fans, we know which celebrity Kelly Clarkson will team up with for the Battle Rounds.

As the Season 30 Blind Auditions continue to air on NBC, fans are already getting a tease of what’s to come for the next round of competition. In an interview with Extra on October 5, viewers learned that Kelly recruited singer and Oscar winner Ariana DeBose as her advisor during the Battle Rounds.

“I have a very eclectic team,” she shared in the clip posted on YouTube. “So, whenever I get to come mentor and advise the team, it has to be someone that can kind of go in different fields genre-wise. [Ariana]’s obviously super talented—that’s a given. She does all the things, and she’s like a triple threat. But it was more your person as well, and it was how comfortable she was in her skin and how easy she was to talk to. She gets it.”

Ariana was equally thrilled about joining Kelly as an advisor.

“I thought I was being punked, but I was excited for it!” she said. “I think this show and the opportunity it’s giving artists is really special, and I was just thrilled to have an opportunity to come be in the space. I’m learning and watching her work with them.”

As soon as fans learned about this exciting collab, they were ecstatic.

“Wait, this is a duo I didn’t know I needed…,” one person wrote in the comments on Instagram. “Most perfect pair evah! @arianadebose radiates kindness with every fabric of her being. Can’t wait to watch what they create together!” another exclaimed.

Ariana got her start on So You Think You Can Dance season 6 before making her Broadway debut in 2011. She worked on musicals including Hamilton and A Bronx Tale before transitioning to acting in Schmigadoon! and The Prom. She won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2022 for her portrayal of Anita in the remake of West Side Story, and she most recently appeared in the Amazon Prime Video series Scarpetta.
