We’re just weeks away from the America’s Got Talent season 21 live shows, but it’s hard to forget last year’s winner, Jessica Sanchez.
Jessica made her AGT debut at age 10 in season 1 in 2006, and when she returned in season 20, she showcased her incredible vocals while pregnant with her first child. By the end of the season, it was clear Jessica deserved to win the $1 million prize and the glory of being an AGT champion.
It turns out Jessica has had an amazing journey since winning the NBC competition series—and she’s keeping everyone updated online.
In October 2025, just a few weeks after winning AGT season 20, Jessica gave birth to a daughter named Eliana Mae, whom she shares with her husband, Rickie Gallardo.
“Eliana Mae Gallardo. October 13, 2025 ❤️,” she wrote at the time on Instagram. “From one dream season to the next. This time, the most precious one yet. We are grateful beyond words for our baby girl, for the gift of motherhood, and for the love that grows deeper every day. 🥰.”
Fans were in tears in the comments.
“From winning AGT to this beautiful moment, I seriously couldn't be happier for you, Jessica! You've come such a long way, and you're going to be an absolutely amazing mother to your little girl. This is so special. ❤️,” one person wrote at the time. “SHES the cutest!!! 🥰🥰🥰 welcome to the world baby girl 💕,” another exclaimed. “She’s beautiful! Congratulations and welcome to parenthood!!!!” a different follower added.
Jessica’s music career hasn’t slowed down as she’s soaked up parenthood.
Over the last few months, she’s released two new singles, titled “Two Lines” and “Stronger Than Before,” and a new full-length album called Szn. She also documented her trip to Manila, Philippines, to perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on May 16.
“There are so many moments in life that stay with you forever … becoming the runner-up on American Idol, getting married, winning America’s Got Talent, and becoming a mom to the most amazing baby girl in the world,” she wrote on Instagram after the big night. “Last night became one of those moments for me too. ❤️. My heart is so full of joy and gratitude. I never take for granted the privilege of doing what I love, and being able to share it with all of you makes it even more special. Thank you to everyone who came out to the show and made the night so unforgettable.”
While we don’t know what’s next for Jessica, we can only imagine that she’s going to do some incredible things.
